Why not?

"That shirt is cute! It's super cheap!" Says the girl at the mall. 

“Oooh, I love this, what a steal!" Says the girl thrifting a few months later.

Why do things happen, why do things not happen? Why do good things happen, Why do bad things happen? Those are some of the biggest questions ever asked. There never will be a good answer but we all are doing our best to figure out.

Imagine if emotional baggage looked physical.

For anyone who's been thinking about Valentine's day, or not, I just wish so much that for once I could get someone to like me back. But then do I? It's fine to be single and I'm fine being single, but I hate being called single.

Hey Siri, call Mom. Alexa, set a timer for three minutes. We don’t notice what AI does. I like to experiment with AI. I think it’s odd. When robots ask if we’re robots.

And so there were three.

Three thoughts concerning snowflakes. 

Why do we live? Why are we here? Why were we gifted this beautiful world that we are destroying without a question? Why do we not question? Why do we not think to look where trouble lies, rather than turning our heads? Why is there trouble?

Books. They're doorways to infinite universes, each door holding a world unlike any other. If one world isn't to your liking, you can just open another door.

Gym class. Sweaty, hormonal teenage boys running around attempting to showcase their masculinity and physical prowess to the girls, as if they cared.

When somebody says to trust your gut, what exactly does that mean? That's a pretty big idea to instill in somebody’s mind, and is that person even giving you sage advice. And is it always a good expression to live by?

I miss my old neighborhood. Try to imagine this, a regular neighborhood but there's a bike path across the way that leads into these cool, breezy woods  where lots of people walk their dogs and ride their bikes.
