I'm in middle school, and we already have a cell phone ban in place. If someone is caught with their phone during the school day, they can get reported and get a detention.
Furries and therians (I hoped I spelt those correctly) get lots of hate these days for simply existing. They’ve received death threats, and hate comments, and sometimes physical abuse for being themselves.
It is well known that cell phones can cause many problems in and out of school. Previously teachers have had the opportunity to tell their students to place their phones in “phone pockets” near the door.

As much as I love Vermont, and it loves me, I love to travel outside of it. I travel to see the sights and visit all the places I can. I especially like to visit foreign countries.

I don't hate the idea of banning phones from schools, but there are some things that I feel that the bill's (which would have made it so phones were banned during the school day) writers might have failed to take into consideration.
I strongly believe the ban of cellphones would have a different impact on each person, I am the type of student to stay off my phone until my work is complete.
