As a senior who is graduating today, I would say to remember that high school is only 4 years, and that the hard parts will certainly be challenging. When everything feels suffocating, just know that you’re not alone, and that this, too, shall end. Also, make some upperclassmen friends or acquaintances if you can! As someone who was always the older friend, it warmed my heart to help them with everything :) Good luck as a freshman! Reach out if you need anything!!

If you feel it's right for your story and will add to the suspense, then go ahead. If you feel like it may leave too many plot holes, I'd suggest not to.

Nerves are perfectly normal! One piece of advice is that the friends you make on the first day don't have to be your friends forever. Don't be afraid to talk to different people and float around a little before creating a friend group :)

Also, things really don't have to rhyme. Or, you can make them ryme too. In a flaming lips song, Wayne rhymed "orange" with "store". (HOW). So, just saying, rhymes really don't have to be perfect.

Its totally okay to be nervous! Try to remember that this is a new period of your life and its a time to experiment. its helpful to be authentic and really explore your interests. This will also help you make friends!
