I'm deliberating whether to kill a character in my book who isn't even that bad just for the drama..... hm. This would be after he's married but before he gets to see his baby's face...so very sad.

Anybody have advice?
If you feel it's right for your story and will add to the suspense, then go ahead. If you feel like it may leave too many plot holes, I'd suggest not to.
Hmmmm... if you are looking to make your reader depressed in the best way possible then I say do it!
In my opinion, books that make me cry are the best kind of books!
this is what I came to:
I am gonna make him die by drowning while skating on an ice rink, WITH THE BABY and the baby lives but he doesn't :-) so dramatic.
