I've always enjoyed reading and writing, but during the height of the pandemic it became more serious for me because it was a way to express my loneliness and frustration; and I had a lot of free time.
This is a relatable poem that caught my attention all the way through. I was able to picture the scenario perfectly through this poem and it brought me back to the feeling of procrastination. I found it very interesting how you broke up the lines, especially the lines "My ceiling, My windows, And my mirrors." giving them each their own line emphasizes certain words and this is something I feel more people should do. This poem is beautiful and so relatable!
I really enjoyed this poem, one thing that really stuck out to me was the line "That I was ink and glue and wax but mostly, I was made of papercuts" This concept is really cool to me and you phrased it so perfectly, I could feel myself becoming fully immersed in this poem during that line. I noticed how you ended every line with the same word twice, this made me very happy because it felt nice to read and it was a strong choice that added so much to your already amazing poem. This poem is so special and the ending words make it stand out all the more. This is a stunning poem, the choices of the words are so clear and inspiring!
I really enjoyed this poem, especially the first few lines, it set the tone of the poem very well. I also find it very cool how each first line of each section creates its own poem. you do an amazing job making it relatable and understandable well making it beautiful and so complex at the same time.
Whoa, Geri, this one is going to stay with me. Thank you!

I feel like I usually go back to the memories I've shared with my family
I always go back to optimism and all the things that bring it to me.
I love repetition! I love the way it gets the point across.
I could say that I really hate someone, though if I say that I really really hate them, those are two very different things!
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much Anna! That line is also my fav
