The Turn of Leaves
The leaves fall down like routine,
Their colors crisp and brown.
I want to freeze this moment
When November comes around.

now her
I wanted to be yours,
I wanted to feel you close.
I didn't just want to be friends,
I wanted to be wrapped up in your clothes.

Rosalind, with the bedroom of her heart (blackout poetry)
Rosalind, with the bedroom of her heart.
Rosalind, laughing alone among beauty.
The mirror was laughing at her,
Behind her, looking straight through her.

I wanna be okay
I wanna be okay,
I've been through so much pain
I've been brought up and broken
Silenced and out spoken
I wanna be okay,
My life was flipped over
But now it's getting better

never really love
What you gave me everyday
Was never really love.
It was toxic, poison,
You stained my blood black.
All of your words
I realize were all lies.
Even the ring on my finger
-
lonely thoughts
I run to the forest,
The colors remind me
Of the color my eyes aren't.
Your screams are still in my ears,
They still echo
Against the blank canvas out here.
