I run to the forest,
The colors remind me
Of the color my eyes aren't.
Your screams are still in my ears,
They still echo
Against the blank canvas out here.
It feels like I'll explode
Somedays, when my thoughts
Are too much to handle.
The indecision grows
Like a new born tree,
Just never quite ready.
All your words are right—
I'm in denial about my life.
The world is fading to night.
Out here it is silent,
And I can think and wonder
About all of the choices I made.
Sometimes, the silence is too much,
And I'll just cry against a tree.
Maybe then it'd be loud enough.
But this place grows on me,
It's the place where I escape.
The place where I can't make any more mistakes.
