My life is changing 

like the four seasons, 

though without any reason — 

I find myself scared of it. 

Change, it’s a horrifying but beautiful thing. 

Peace looks like a quiet meadow on a sunny day, where the grass sways gently in the breeze and flowers bloom in vibrant colors. Birds sing joyfully in the sky, and the only sound is the soft rustling of leaves in the trees.

I want love to feel 

like driving into the sunset in a 90's movie

in an old red convertible

classic rock playing us out.

Sometimes

I look at the stars

And hope

That somewhere

In another universe

We all got our happy endings.

I wish a lie was just another funny truth,

But it’s not,

The chains that tied it to the floor,

Left nothing but cankered knots,

And when the sailors hauled her up the side of the dock,

Something I seem to always think back to, is what happens after you die. I used to get trapped in this thought and it was my biggest fear all throughout my childhood.
