Totally! Although the eighth Harry Potter (the play one) was definitely a drop in quality compared to the first seven. The fifth and sixth are my favorite! (...RIP Dumbledore...)
I loved Aru Shah (and Percy Jackson)! I learned so much about Hindu mythology through it, and Greek and Roman through Percy Jackson. If you liked those two, try Magnus Chase (Norse mythology)!
I really loved rereading the Keeper of the Lost Cities series and Harry Potter (one of my longtime faves) over break. I also liked writing some of my own stories!
My friends and I (they ended up wanting to work on it too and it went so much faster, thank you Fainting Goat!) finished it a few weeks ago! Thanks so much for your help!
I have written a poetry book with my friend but we didn't write a lot about the same subject. First off, I would think about things like if your subject could be looked at from a lot of different angles, different perspectives, or different times of year/day/month/other. Example: if the subject was a lake, you could write about it from the POV of a fish and a human; and what it looks like at sunrise/sunset/noon. Hope this helps!
