Popcorn

I can't take back what I did.

 But I want you to know that you weren't a game to me, that is just my love. 

It's sick and twisted and dark and suffocating 

But it's not meant to hurt you

I open it, 

Relishing the new-book scent, 

Hoping 

I can forget again. 

Take me away 

To foreign lands 

Where peace can be found 

To live is to die

To laugh is to know what it feels like to cry

To try is to fail

To have friends is to have enemies as well

The good does not stand alone

But neither does bad

There is no ying without yang

Strangers 

are the closest companions. 

You take a shot
