Thank you so much!

  1. Humanities. I love English and this class is basically a combination of English and history which means we have two teachers. The people in this class are also really cool and I like the teachers alot.
  2. So far Algebra 1 because I'm awful at math but I like the teacher and students or Integrated Science which I like the subject of but so far its kind of boring. My school does different classes each semester and I have a feeling my least favorite this year will be PE which I have next semester
  3. Humanities again. It's my only year long class and I just think it will be really fun.
  4. I'm a Freshman
  5. Some days lunch is fine, others not so much. There's always pizza though so I think I'll stick to that most days. I really like the people I eat with though and my school has a cafe where you can get frozen yogurt for like a dollar so its not all bad.
  6. Not really any fun facts, this was really fun to do though :)

I had to take a break after reading, I was so overcome by emotion. This is so well written, and it really made me feel heard in a way that I’m not used to. If this was written from experience, I’m so sorry for what you’ve been through. You are so talented!

  1. Orchestra, because it gives the motivation I need to play my violin.
  2. Food & Nutrition, because the kids in that class don’t listen to the teacher.
  3. Teacher’s Assistant, because I’m gonna get to work with my favorite teacher.
  4. 9th, I’m a freshman.
  5. The lunch at my school is gross. My friend got milk in August that expired in March, and the bacon is so thin and barely cooked it looks like skin.
  6. One “fun” fact about my school is that one of the elevators has black mold in it. 🤢

Same. Sometimes it feels like the poems write themselves - I post them, forget about them, and then someone will comment on it and I'll think, wow, who wrote that? and remember I just didn't edit it, so it never stuck in my memory!! There really isn't one way to write poetry!

If you hadn't stated this was unedited, I would have assumed it'd been manipulated somehow -- it's simply gorgeous! I love that the dandelion seeds are like a halo of radiating light and warmth.

Wow, I could imagine hearing this on the radio if put to music. In fact, it feels meant to be put to music! Your words are incredibly lyrical: simple, short lines that hold so much meaning, and can be interpreted however the reader wishes (through the lens of their own life, and easily so). Your repeated stanzas are a perfect catchy, melancholic refrain.

We can always count on the positivity of your poetry: You always make me smile. (Which is not to say you should never explore other themes and tones, just because I mentioned that -- you have a way of making words sparkle, no matter the topic!)

This is so clever, the use of Autumn, as a girl's name, being used for a character in conjunction with the references to the season. The themes of loss and inevitable change (like the evanescence of fall) come through strongly and tie the whole thing together.
