I agree with that (and I have posters too...lol)! Who's your favorite character?

I love Keeper of the Lost Cities! (To the point that I have 2 posters in my room from the series, haha.) It was recommended to me a few years ago by a friend/friends. There’s definitely a lot of books and the plot can be slow at some points but I definitely recommend the series to people!

Rereading a favorite childhood book cheers me up, if it's still not TOO "babyish", haha. I also like watching my favorite TV shows/movies, How To Train Your Dragon, just for the fun of it - I know I'm probably too old to still love that series as much as I do, but it's really comforting. Does that make sense?

OH MY GOSH ME TOO GUYS. I do that with EVERYTHING - the kids in my class I don't know very well, in the cafeteria, totally on the bus, everywhere! I try to think about their lives, what their hobbies are, what their past was like, and who/what matters to them. I hope that's not cringey-stalkerish, it might just be writers' brain...I love thinking about different peoples' perspectives!

SAME. It makes me so mad. We have that group of "cool" boys who do the same thing and it is DISGUSTING. I'm bi (not officially though) and it makes me really mad. I am definitely scared of 2025...

Yep, I think the bad grammar is acceptable in texts because honestly, do you ever text with perfect grammar? At first I tried to but it's a LOT of going back and changing stuff. I think the grammar's fine!

I have DEFINITELY noticed those ridiculous trends. I'm in seventh grade and it's still around - it kinda started around fifth grade. One of my best friends actually decided to reinforce the "popular" stereotype...ugh. I try to break it. I think people are so ridiculous right now and it's really exhausting for me. It kills me because I would probably be friends with some of the "cool kids" if they didn't act so rudely superior! I'm really glad you guys seem to get it because not a lot of people do right now.

Yes please! That sounds really cool. I'd love to read it!

Me too. I think poetry is supposed to be free and kind of crazy and all over the place - it's all about the author's thoughts and emotions, and I don't think it should have any confining rules. Go with the flow - and can I read some of your poems when you're finished?? Looking for inspiration!
