For sailing
With uncertainty
Is most certainly,
Or at least, personally,
an emergency.
I once knew of a sailor
Who never looked paler
Then when he was a tailor.
It was a total failure.
For this, sailor,
Is your warning,
You don’t have to go sailing
In the morning.
Shatterable, how utterly shatterable this world is. Once I was here, embraced in delicate arms that were so strong. I was embracing a blond headed, simple pathed, loving girl.
We shift through the reeds, chests touching, foreheads resting on each other. Our hands become moist from being held together for so long. The breeze makes the large plane full of reeds click, nearly sounding like diamonds.
After all this
The shame
The guilt
The tear between friends
The loss of sleep
The burning of bridges
I still love you
