i am a poet.

I drown in my own words

Novels of my bleeding

I bleed in writing

Turning pain into poetry

The sun set long ago

Yet I cling to sunshine

Writing pages upon pages

Of memories I’ll never forget

Searching for a lost light

I can reach for but never touch

Every scar is another story

Another gaping wound in my heart

Bandaged with drafts and manuscripts of past impediments

For I am a poet:

I drown in my own words

Endlessly bleeding

Turning pain into poetry.

  • Our Story

Our story always ends the same

No matter how many pages I turn

    In the end

    I’m the friend in need

And you’re the main character, always having to help me

I try to rip the pages out
