Geographical bachelor

Today I booked a flight to Germany,

A place I’ve never known,

Neither did my father,

Nor my mothers ever gone,

It’s funny how the geographic gene,

Or dna,

However did the ones before you,

Skip such certain place?

See they had less than I,

Before them had less than thee,

I became the “man“ they’d always wanted me to be,

A geographical bachelor to the family tree with I,

I shall travel farther then the ones before me died,

I’m grateful for these bones that I have been laid onto to test,

The great foundation lay beneath me had been built from all the rest,

Through my eyes are the great old souls,

The ones that fostered life,

My life is in accumulation of those who suffered strife,

It is through me the generational wealth,

Shall be reborn,

Because my kin will travel far,

Know world I’ve never toured.

  • Swings

I remember being younger when the playground was in bloom,

You told me that I had a choice to use just one; But whom?

The slide was overcrowded and I could never get a ride,

  • An Envy Detour

    May this envy be contagious?

These naughts of mine that always rise come as dreams in cages?

I might recon that is so,

Yesterday as I sat down it started then to snow.

  • Decisions

    Four corners set each way,
And I still sit in the box.
    The left could sin me,
    Right could win me,
    Front or back could block.
I could become a famous tool,
    Or infamously triumph,
