When Johnny first put that seed in the ground, when he first covered it with soil and gave it water, he had no idea how big it would become.

The child runs and runs through the suffocating night, looking for a place to hide, anywhere, just somewhere safe. There were two others with this child, but they were all taken. The child crouches in a small abandoned shack, shaking.

A penny from a young girl with pigtails and a toothy grin, a dime from a poet in a baseball cap, and a quarter from an elderly lady on her morning stroll.
like shifting shadows moving across walls and space
I constantly reflect everything and everyone
daydreamers like to envision a new world
one where every cog in the machine does its job
we get tired of being the mirror

In the dusk, winds blow, rustling the tree branches upon the trees. A forest opens into a wide field eventually leading to a small farm in a small town. But this town doesn't show up in this story. At least, not yet.
every day they look themself in the mirror. i should be better. nobody tells them they're great. nobody cares to tell them how amazing they are. they fall asleep crying. they plaster a fake smile in the day. always. happy.
One very nice afternoon I went on a walk through the swampy wet woods to see the very pretty and soothing river flow on my way there I met this very cute and nice rabbit she said her name was Synthia, Synthia had walked with me to the river to wat
