Falling into nothing

My mind has gone numb 

My hands are ice cold 

Each day blends into the next

Each word pulls me closer to the edge

Nothing is the absence of something 

Nothing is alright with me 

The wind blows my hair

The cold air stings my face 

My body isn't working 

My feet are disobeying me

I stumble unwillingly

I fall in

Fear shoots through my body 

Fear tries to snap me out of it

It's pointless to try though 

It's already been done 

But I don't care

Because I'm falling into nothing
