Covid is about to start. Don't worry, this isn't the end of the world. You just have to get through the next two years.
Also: You need glasses. Please get them and don't wait four more years.
You're going to lose friends. A lot of them.
But don't worry, in two years, you're going to meet the best person of your life. She's your kind of weird. She understands.
You're definitely not cis/hetro. It takes a bit to figure that out, but I know you can do it, because I eventually did.
The world is not what you think it is. It's crueler, and sadder, and it gets worse.
Keep looking for the bright things, pointing out spring crocuses and the robin that nests under your window. Keep watching the patterns of the sunset, and looking for imaginary constellations. Keep humming to yourself, and taking spiders outside instead of squishing them.
Keep focusing on the small, happy sparks. Those are what keep you going.
From, Your Future Self.
