Red, green, silver and white
These colors light up a winter night
Pine trees all wrapped up tight
Plastic bulbs shining bright
Blankets of snow cover the ground
Sleigh bells are the only sound
Family time lost is once again found
How I wish it could be all year round
Classic movies on repeat
Your parents wallets' face defeat
Grandpa in his comfy seat
Waiting for the Christmas feast
I'll push my dull heart down
Anytime you need me to
And you'll never hear me
Beg you under my breath
Not to leave me
You looked at me
Like I'm a horrible
Burden just now
I look in the mirror
Like any girl my age
But I'm repulsed in horror
At what is on stage
I look at those numbers
Wait for them to go down again
114, 113, 112
I know I can't
Wait forever for
That girl to come back
Yet I can't turn
A new page or
Start on a new chapter
I think I need her
I'm so afraid
