Better than Before

I've never been the lucky type

That's just never been my plight

But now I'm standing in the light

 

I found a person good for me

A sweet girl, kind and neat

But yet she knows how to bring the heat

 

I was surprised when she said yes

My heart leaped out from my chest

She knows how to bring forth my best

 

I'm going to make my stand 

I think this is my second chance 

Love is dangerous but such a fun dance

 

And this time is better than before
