My friends and I (they ended up wanting to work on it too and it went so much faster, thank you Fainting Goat!) finished it a few weeks ago! Thanks so much for your help!

I have written a poetry book with my friend but we didn't write a lot about the same subject. First off, I would think about things like if your subject could be looked at from a lot of different angles, different perspectives, or different times of year/day/month/other. Example: if the subject was a lake, you could write about it from the POV of a fish and a human; and what it looks like at sunrise/sunset/noon. Hope this helps!

I am so, so sorry to hear this. Dementia is horrible, and I know it must hurt a lot. But, I love how heartfelt your poem was and I love all the emotion you put into it.

Oooh that sounds like a great book! My break just ended as well and I am saving the book I started over break (a crazy good fantasy called Witch King) for in-bed reading.

I actually started a few new books over break, one of them being To Shape A Dragon's Breath. So far it seems pretty good, though I might have to stop reading it for a bit to get back into the rhythm of school (my break just ended).
