Tiny Writes
Got any tips for making a deadline for a really long writing piece? I'm trying to write a play (13 scenes including songs) by the end of the month so my friends and I can perform it soon. I'm usually so prompt with deadlines, so I'm a bit stuck on how to manage it.

Set a specific amount of time for how long you're going to work on it each day. Make it manageable, and try to increase the amount of time as you go. Don't make it overwhelming, though, because it's supposed to be fun, not stressful. If necessary, you could always have your friends pitch in to write.
I'd try to split up the project into sections and assign deadlines to those. So like have scenes 1-5 done by a certain time and then scenes 5-9 done by a second date. Also this sounds like a cool project!
That's a good idea! Also, thanks - it's an awesome project to work on, and super fun!
My friends and I (they ended up wanting to work on it too and it went so much faster, thank you Fainting Goat!) finished it a few weeks ago! Thanks so much for your help!
