Thanks! It started with the Wings of Fire series by Tui T Sutherland. Then, once I finished the series, I moved onto the Spy School series by Stuart Gibbs.
I'm a wrestler, and I think this is an amazing way to bring to the light the true struggles that we endure, and how wrestling should not be a sport that focuses on weight, it should be a sport focused on skill, like every other one.
What an anguished scene, this dancer overcome by emotion and collapsing on the stage... I can feel the sorrow. The ambiguity of her struggles adds intrigue to the piece: Is she heartbroken ("wild romance"; "why she didn't go")? Is she deeply insecure about her abilities? I still can't make up my mind, but the reader doesn't have to know these things to understand her sense of defeat; it's more interesting this way!
Ben Ripley! Great character! Thanks for sharing your recommendations!

I love the (of course), and the way you incorporated them into your poem. They add such an amazing effect!
Getting lost in a book has to be one of life's greatest gifts! You describe it so well here. I have to ask ... what was that one unforgettable book?

This is amazing! The highlights and different shades of green give the piece texture, and make it feel so real.
Thank you so much! 🩵
