Ahh! Your examples of Earth's beauty are so descriptive and sweeping, they really do evoke the qualities of each landscape you mention. It's impossible not to have an emotional response to that, to the thought of the destruction of our world and its diversity. I think the way you presented your plea for the necessary survival of our home was a particularly intelligent one.
There is so much love expressed in this poem, it must have felt cathartic to write (in the best way). I think your commitment to your Friend is commendable and sweet, and though he may not be able to speak to tell you this himself, I would assume he feels very lucky to have you.
I really love how you've connected the "monster under the bed," threatening to harm you if you don't check under the bed and shut the closet door, with that nagging, anxious voice telling you to doublecheck something/telling you that something is wrong or that you're forgetting something. It's a perfect analogy (and funny too!)!
I’m working on the third one now! I think Purity died, right? To be honest, I didn’t really like her that much— she was a bit of a bad influence for Greyson. Jerico though… Jeri is awesome!
It is!
Its at Antelope Canyon in Page, Arizona
Thank you so much! I hope we can all learn to appreciate our earth more.
No title could be more fitting... wow wow wow. Wherever this is, I think I'd like to add it to my bucket list. What a sight to behold.
