I also write scripts, but for plays instead of films, and I don't have a lot of experience so idk if this will actually be helpful? You could try having someone else be present as you're writing it and give feedback in the moment, as that is more helpful then when you're finished; and you can think about putting as much emotion as you can into your characters. I also try to write my dialogue as how I think these specific characters would really talk, and sometimes that helps! I also bet that you are a very good script writer because all of writing is cliches and audiences do enjoy seeing a storyline they can recognize and relate to!! Ooo, this reminds me of stained glass (of an abstract kind). My high school art teacher assigned us a project like this once too, and I remember it being very relaxing to color in.
This was troubling to read, especially because I've had my own experiences with dismissive and gaslighting doctors and mental health professionals (a notable one was the therapist who once told me it would help to fall in love). But in writing this, you are taking a stand and continuing to learn to self-advocate, which becomes an essential life skill the older you get, so I hope this helped you regain a level of personal agency. And you're right, about this doctor claiming your physical symptoms were mental health related, which led to your declining mental health: IRONY, there's no other word for it.
This offered such a broad review of your experiences as a girl, all of which are as relevant today as they were a hundred years ago, and nearly always universal among our sex. I stand with you in solidarity against the patriarchy, and the stereotypes and injustices it produces.
I think it would do us all a little good to read an appeal to humanity like this every day, remind us of what is at stake and help spur us into action. Excellent usage of vocabulary -- each ending word genuinely makes sense, and was not used for mere convenience to maintain the style.
