It's here, prepared or not –
A single flower.
Dozens of breathtaking, intricate pink-orange petals reach for the sun.
Newly bloomed, plump seeds, crisp leaves, overflowing with rich chlorophyll
A diamond in the ruff, devouring attention, a beauty beyond compare.
It is young, yet it has visitors,
Fuzzy bumblebees and graceful cultivated butterflies.
Oh, but it now has seen enough moons
Everything, however beautiful, must end.
And now – the time has come.

I love your take on this challenge! "Oh, but it now has seen enough moons // Everything, however beautiful, must end." Ahh, haunting but lovely! I suppose all beauty in the natural world is evanescent, isn't it? Something fall does a good job of reminding us of. Art, poetry, at least, are everlasting...
Thank you so much!! <3 You have a beautiful way of describing :)
