my heart is locked,

and i'm keeping it for you. 

the chain wrapped around it

still remains from the last time

it shattered. 

i build up my mountains,

and my defenses in my mind.

I want my destiny

Given in my hand like a trophy.

I want to know what I'm made for,

Right now, I feel empty. 

Everyone else has their purpose,

And they just seem to fit. 

50% is not a large enough number

to give me any sort of hope. 

But somehow the feeling still mingles

in my mind. 

Your respect for me

has probably hit the ground,

And I'm running

I wonder what I look like

In your eyes.

What I look like

In your dreams. 

Maybe I'll be gone,

But please carry on. 

Don't be shadowed in the dark,

Maybe this is a poem,

And maybe it's just words of love

Spilling endlessly from my thoughts,

Smudging into one on the page.
