The Absence of your Giving
You once gave to me the poetry of your heart
through bloodshed tears of your wasted time
I listened so softly
you didn't acknowledge my upbringing, as you lost your way of sight
my hands out empty

My home is roughened with bare hands.
Worn over by wasted time.
Rain and wind tear me down,
And I let it consume me.
