I am the same as everyone else

just another face in a crowd

hidden behind a mask of lies

a disguise

concealing my true self

in hazy shroud

Plop!

Out from a chicken they drop

a round ol' bottom with a pointy top

Smack! as they crack

over your head

because I am fed

There is a place where the day ends

before the night begins

where the sky bleeds red

and the sun fish flies

with a golden fin on its head 

and a joyous look in its eyes

My day is done, so I sit here,
