Who am I
to say that you are wrong?
Who are you
to say that I am wrong?
Simple questions—
tough answers.
Polarization plagues us,
yet we remain ideologues,
clutching our ideologies
hurling insults, as if snowballs.
We must leave the trenches.
We must excuse our differences.
We must find our similarities.
Who am I?
Who are you?
We are one,
we are human—
together, yet separate
we must remember.

It can be so easy to see ourselves as enemies across a great divide, but this poem has such a worthy message to humanity: "We must excuse our differences. We must find our similarities." I wish we all had the same mindset. The world would be a much more peaceful place.
Amen!!
