Truth or Dare

Twist our fates,
Tangle our cognition,
Contort our beliefs,
Into warped fruition.

Life's a fun little game,
Don't you see?
The discordant spells,
The incomprehensible choice,
Truth or dare,
Embedding need in our voices.

Bend our wills,
Wind our lies,
Misshape our perception,
Into a deformed society,
Blowing against our stride.

This makes life fun,
Doesn't it?
When we don't follow rules,
It's truth or dare,
Don't you see?
But nonetheless we find ourselves lying,
In a life already engulfed in disharmony.
But nonetheless we find ourselves disobeying,
With corrupt mentalities.
