Renewing

Discomfort

settles

inside you

hardens

into something to avoid

churning your stomach

restraining you from finding peace.

Emotional

yet physical

tormenting you

pestering you

affecting you

until you finally ask

the question it wants.

"What do you want?"

Of course

there is no vocal answer

but the uncomfortable feeling in your chest

shifts

and a response is expressed

through emotions.

Fear.

Worry.

Anxiety.

Displeasure.

Constant irritation.

Emotions

feelings

swirling through your core

down to your fingertips

providing another question

but aimed at yourself.

"Can I change this?"

The sensations

dancing through you

like half-asleep limbs

inspire you

to change it all.

All of it

gone

changed

to be something

brighter

shining through pestering darkness

slicing?

No, not slicing.

Melting.

Fixing

mending

reassembling

renewing.

  • An Idea

It is started by a piece of paper

    written in blue pen ink

smeared as it is folded twice

    passed to a friend.

Purple marker replies to blue pen

    folded up the same way as before;

  • Carry On

    My other half

    my neighbor

    my friend.

    You will die in my

    lifetime

and I will be left without you.

    How does life go on

    without you as a

    constant companion

    to support me?

  • Bonds

    Two creatures

    inseparable

    a bond stronger than that of two people;

returning to the comfort of the other

    even after time has passed.

    There for the other

    stronger together

    weakened alone
