Carry On

My other half

my neighbor

my friend.

You will die in my

lifetime

and I will be left without you.

How does life go on

without you as a

constant companion

to support me?

Even if I was ten years older

then I am now

you would still leave this world

before me

and I will be left behind.

Species should not

affect friendship

but it does when it comes to

age.

So how am I going to

carry on

without you?
