She's finally ahead in the presidential race. The way my hope lifted when I heard that news. And the disbelief on my face? How, after ten months? I was sure I was going to be screaming from my porch on election day, "Why, why?
Last year, floods ransacked Vermont.
They stole. They destroyed. They even killed.
While the rest of the country dealt with extreme heat,
Vermont was struggling just as much with the floods.
Is the main character actually the main character?
Climate change is happening all over the word, and is practically dooming our planet, and ourselves, to extinction. So what are people doing to stop this?
I am honestly not surprised by this. In my city, there are vape and cannabis shops everywhere now. It was not like this when we moved here nine years ago.
Ever since January of 2024, a cell phone ban was put into effect in my school district except at lunchtime. I believe this is irrational and absurd.
Have you ever observed the humble golden creature swimming circles in the fishbowl, and wondered if it dreamed of a bigger pond? Turns out that a little fish in a big pond can cause big issues.
I'm in middle school, and we already have a cell phone ban in place. If someone is caught with their phone during the school day, they can get reported and get a detention.
Furries and therians (I hoped I spelt those correctly) get lots of hate these days for simply existing. They’ve received death threats, and hate comments, and sometimes physical abuse for being themselves.
It is well known that cell phones can cause many problems in and out of school. Previously teachers have had the opportunity to tell their students to place their phones in “phone pockets” near the door.
Write a story, poem, or create your own way to express what you want to be when you grow up. This could be written about what you want to have accomplished by the next four, ten, twenty, or even fifty years.
