This country is still here
In some aspects we’ve changed
I may not always agree with the authority figures over me. But that doesn’t mean I should disrespect them. I don’t always see eye to eye with the people around me. That doesn’t mean I should talk bad about them. I don’t know what everyone around me is going through. It’s unfair to judge someone just like that. We don’t know what’s happening in their life.
This country is still here
It’s not perfect but it’s here
This country isn’t perfect by any means. We are not perfect by any means. We try and sometimes mess up. That doesn’t mean we should call someone out for it. We have all done things that are wrong, whether it’s stealing, or gossiping about your siblings. Or maybe you gossip about that kid who’s always mean to you. That doesn’t mean you should still do it back to them.
This country is still here
Why do you think it’s a melting pot?
Many many people have come here from different countries. Would people go to a different country if they thought it would be worse than the one they already have?
This country is still here
