If There Was No Homework
If I could pass any one law right now, I would pass a law to ban homework. Homework is a horrible way to learn. Studies show that it greatly degrades students' happiness and is universally voted the worst part of school. -
Waves
Waves are in everything. Oceans, lakes, rivers and ponds. The ocean water, salty and clear, splashing up against the sandy beaches in California or the murky lake water hitting my face while riding behind the boat on a blow up tube. -
A Nine-Year Journey
For nine years, I've been a part of YWP and for nine years, I've felt seen by this community. Even as I've grown up, I've watched new young writers come and share their thoughts, emotions, and stories. -
Bread . . . I love Bread
Bread . . . I love bread. I am always amazed when reflecting upon the versatility of this ten thousand year old food. On Team Carbohydrates, bread has been a core player, a starter for gluten all-team. -
Spring
Spring is one of my favorite seasons. A lot of my favorite activities are in spring. Baseball is one of my favorite sports. I like baseball because it is outside and the weather is usually good. -
Air Remains
The wind is a voice, carrying the words of those that could be either distant or close. The wind carries your dreams, desires, and secrets. One day you'll realize that the air, the wind, and the Earth, hear it all. -
Spring
Now that spring is here I am hoping that the snow would be gone and that I could see the grass that isn't really too green. Spring is one of the best seasons of the year in my opinion. -
Happy
When I think back in my life, there is one memory where I remember being indescribably happy, and content.
