New Ideas

New ideas,

that is all I need.

Every day,

I find myself,

typing the same words,

the same letters,

my fingers pressing the same keys. 

I want to write about something new,

something different,

something positive, perhaps? 

And I truly hope that day will come,

at some point,

when something exciting,

something good,

actually happens. 

After all, 

haven't we all just been living with new challenges every day?

Doesn't it seem like there has been something new to deal with every minute? 

Isn't some time with positivity bound to happen,

at some hour,

someday?

Maybe,

hopefully.

So,

for now,

we can do our best,

to make the negative days brighter,

to overpower the words of the cruel,

with the songs of the great.

We can do what we can,

to help the world,

to help the people,

and at some point,

things will get better.

This world will be filled with new thoughts,

new hopes,

new challenges,

and, of course,

new ideas.
