For My Sisters

It’s frightening to know

I’ll be gone in five years' time

I know you both will hate to see me go

And leave you behind

From writing books to made-up games

We’ve done it all together

We got through a pandemic and made silly nicknames

Even when we’re under the weather

We fought and had our moments

But we’re still The Trio we always were

I hate to leave you for my enrolments

For you could put a smile on my face in a whir

I’ll miss the memories we made

And I still care for you

You don’t know what I would’ve paid

To keep our bond true

I’m so proud to call you two my sisters

No matter what, I wouldn't have it any other way.

  • Our Story

Our story always ends the same

No matter how many pages I turn

    In the end

    I’m the friend in need

And you’re the main character, always having to help me

I try to rip the pages out
