A letter to me

5 years ago was quite a bit ago, but I still remember it like it was yesterday.

I don't know what I would say to myself.

maybe, it would be okay? but that's a lie

Covid recently hit and that was a hard time because it stopped me from playing sports

but don't worry about that 

you're now the varsity captain of Winooski 

you have 2 championships under your name

You also started playing volleyball 

you aren't the best but I'd say you're pretty good

8th grade wasn't the best year but you made it out somehow

I didnt expect you to honestly

like I really don't know how 

you were a mess

you gained a bunch of weight

you were known as the weird quiet kid who likes anime

you still are just not the quiet part though

I would say that is an upgrade, kinda 

I am still mad that you lost the game against Missisquoi 

You really sucked back then and 9th grade year

you had no playing time in 9th grade and you were really out of shape 

at least you noticed and did something about that

those runs at night paid off

10th grade was better

you had good grades

you had friends

and you had a lot of playing time 

But the game against Enosburg 

is a game you'll never forget 

we won 2:0

this was the game that showed your self and your team that you weren't a burden
