How to write thoughts?

How much time do you need to finish your writing? Asks my teacher

A lifetime I say.

For how can I ever write down all the words in my head, dying to come out

All the screaming matches and all the whispers

The nagging doubts and the fears

The criticism and the encouragement.

How can I ever spill all my thoughts onto the paper?

For my hand is starting to shake, my notebook is down to half a page, and my pen’s running dry

How can I ever scribble down all my ideas?

For no one could ever write, type, draw fast enough

How do I share all my mind with the world?

For it feels like no one is listening

And now I’m not sure I want to write, spill, scribble or share.

  • Your fault

I’m not old enough to vote

I'm not old enough to drive

I’m not old enough to drink

I’m not even old enough to go to the bathroom without asking permission??

  • Perfect puzzle

Once upon a time there was a puzzle, a picture perfect puzzle, that was me.

But now pieces are falling out of, instead of into, place

Slipping and sliding and just out of reach
