I opened my eyes to see a reflection of me staring back at me,
and I knew at that moment the only person to blame was me.
Every mistake, every regret, every wound,
A silent echo in the quiet room.
From what I know, the only enemy I see is myself,
lurking in the shadows of my mind.

To be chosen.
That's all I wish for — to be someone's first choice.
I watch from afar, lost in a sea of the bittersweet feeling
As others are always chosen first, but never me,
You'll learn quickly that this world isn't for the weak,
It's a storm that will drown you if you don't know how to swim,
So learn quickly!
Walking the path that I've always dreamt about,
Never caring what others might think of me,
Never did I once stop thinking about those
Who do not see me as worthy.
