If I could touch the sky
the question is
would I?
What if
it was something
that could hurt me?
If I could fly
ever so high
the only thing
awaiting me
would be the fall
down
down
down
Because the laws of life
like laws of gravity
they tell me
all that’s left is the fall
what comes up
must come down
or there isn’t any meaning at all
Is it a burden to carry on our shoulder?
Or is it what keeps us sane?
Everyday we get older
till we fall
down
down
down
Yet if I
could touch the sky,
if only for a minute,
I would do it
In that moment,
light
shining so very bright
Is enlightenment worth it?
It is for a moment,
‘till you fall
down
down
down
