It‘s said there’s only
two things
certain in our lives
death
and
taxes
How can we be certain of death
until the day we are dead?
How do we know that we’ll die
if we are not dead yet?
I am alive
I smile in the face
of adversity
it’s only a push
to get me further along the way
Sure, taxes may
still be a certain plight
But death,
does not have to be certain
for me
What we know is that
life
is indeed a certain thing
