Clouds

Clouds

What baffles me is how vastly under appreciated they are,
from the ground, their beauty sprawls out for miles
the pearly white presence provides comfort for anything residing below

Often humans can perceive the clouds above as beloved things in their lives;
Dogs, cats, and other animals seem to present themselves the most
It fascinates me that clouds can give so much enjoyment to the people beneath them

That all means very little to me, it's not about the shapes they make,
it's about what they can do
I like to think of clouds as a canvas

They give the sun an outlet to project its beauty
Orange, pink, and purple fill the previously blank sky
it's almost as if the heavens are showing their beauty to all who gaze above

  • To Be a Son

Blue and black blur as the football spirals through the air,

    My hands outstretched,

The ball tumbling closer and closer.

    I drop it.

  • Silence

I've always been fascinated that since the moment I was born there had always been cars driving, birds chirping, and people talking. Every second of my life, this unrelenting continuum of sound and movement somewhere out in the world.
