The golden hour,
Light from every direction,
Surrounding and flowing inside you,
That is the feeling of fall.
The crisp air,
Freezing your lungs,
The prickle against your eyes in the wind;
The feeling of fall.
A sniffle in the chilly breeze,
Shoulders hunched against the rain,
Rosy cheeks and laughter.
That is fall.

It's great to see the direction you took this poem: These are definitely some of the more forgotten small moments and thrills of fall, the glimmers and emotions of the season, rather than the tangible treats and activities that naturally come to mind when the temperature first dips. I think that's what makes this piece special.
That was the direction I was trying to go for, as they are my favorite parts of fall! Thanks for saying that, it made my day!
