I sit quietly on a path

In a park

And watch the world go by.

People walk by,

Runners run by,

Birds fly by,

And spiders crawl across me.

Some stop to rest.

"Please remember 

the milk 

from the store," 

that's what the note says. 

But it doesn't matter anyway 

because his mind, his memory, stays sharp as a tack. 

The stars above 

know our love. 

Written across the seas 

like melodic keys. 

Wind sweeps us away, 

settling secrets with the day. 

Whispers of the night 

To be human is a complex web of 

emotion, of 

trial and error, of 

experience without knowing what lies ahead 

but still turning one's face towards the sun, accepting
