Say you'll remember me forever.
The way we laughed at the bouncing red balloons in the kitchen
And cried when the cat popped one with a delicate swipe of her claw.
You puzzle over the grown ups -
Everything nothing
First there was nothing.
Then light showed us everything.

A great unimaginable empty silence.
But I say no.
