I'm always in between,

In people's minds.

Too smart for everyone,

except the people I'm not smart enough for

To girly,

just because I'm a girl,

Contrary to popular belief, I’m not a bug, at least, not a common pest like moths or ladybugs, or god forbid spiders. I’m graceful, or as graceful as your children’s book describes me, and I have class.

I sit here wishing I write each memory down.

Each drop of my storm,

Enough droplets to hint a faded rainbow beyond.
