"You'll do great." Said my friend. I closed my eyes. "NO!" My friend didn't even flinch. "You hear that? They are cheering for you! They want you." "I'll mess up! I'll freeze!

Please, oh please,

We're honest beings,

We mean no harm, 

We are not armed,

The world is cruel,

Full of fuel,

We cough and we die,

We say goodbye,

We want to live,

Are you happy? Are you sad? I am always wondering the mess of emotions that humans have. 

I can't do it! she thought miserably, clutching the cold rock on the side of the mountain, her fingers blistered and peeled. "You can!" said a voice. Real or a figure of imagination, she did not know.

Walking and walking,

Don't bother talking,

It'll waste energy,

And I have none to waste

My knees are buckling, 

My brain is tiring,

Staring at the students who walk ahead of me.
