Can you hear the voices calling
They are all around you
The fairies fly and the leaves are falling
But you’re falling too
A comet glides through the stars above us
Oh so comely in the sky
The copper tree with its rifts full of rust
And their heinous lies.
We will lay in the warmth
With the birds and the bees
But they wonder if you’re worn
From the peace that you see
A nightingale sings its song of freedom
With golden bells that ring
A widowed man with his song of wisdom
Plays his withered string
In the darkness of the sea
The golden moon shines bright
So won't you come with me
Upon its pathway of light
All the wars withdrawal
From the black as dark as ink
'Cause think they're small
But they're bigger than they think
Under stars bright as day
We head off to skies of blue
But we move the other way
To the hills where love is true
They are all around you
The fairies fly and the leaves are falling
But you’re falling too
A comet glides through the stars above us
Oh so comely in the sky
The copper tree with its rifts full of rust
And their heinous lies.
We will lay in the warmth
With the birds and the bees
But they wonder if you’re worn
From the peace that you see
A nightingale sings its song of freedom
With golden bells that ring
A widowed man with his song of wisdom
Plays his withered string
In the darkness of the sea
The golden moon shines bright
So won't you come with me
Upon its pathway of light
All the wars withdrawal
From the black as dark as ink
'Cause think they're small
But they're bigger than they think
Under stars bright as day
We head off to skies of blue
But we move the other way
To the hills where love is true
